Thanks Dan and commendations for your excellent job as MC at our wedding recently.
Dan was a last minute inclusion in the proceedings. Despite the best of care we had neglected to employ an MC for the reception.
An urgent phone call saw Dan step into the role calmly and with great confidence. He confirmed the order of proceedings, spoke with us and with our parents and the guests of honour and then just began to guide every one through the reception with a big smile and a warm sense of humour.
Everything was so calm that no one realized we had forgotten to organise an MC until the last minute.
Many people commented on his confident and relaxed manner. He was especially helpful to the best man who was very nervous about his speech.
Every thing was calm and relaxed, there was no rush or panic. Dan turned a potential disaster into great evening for every one – especially us.

This is a brief testimonial in favour of Dan Holliday. We employed Dan to Be Master of Ceremonies at the wedding of our third daughter, Melissa. My wife Irma and I had planned and run our first two weddings and while organizing our third, we realized that apart from photographs, we had few pleasant memories of the first two. Mostly we remembered organizing, chasing people and details and making sure that everything was going according to plan.
We wanted to relax and enjoy this wedding.
Dan was a great part of that success. As Master of Ceremonies, he interviewed us all before the event and helped us to plan the reception and he helped with the speeches. He had a great calming influence with his confident and easy manner. Dan is a tall man with a big smile and a quick wit. He has many years experience as an MC at weddings, in theatre restaurant and trivia shows and at the corporate level.

He enjoys weddings especially and brings humour and fun to the joy and excitement of the occasion.

You may recognise Dan from the many TV commercials he has appeared in over the years. His most recent was the Olympus camera adds as the weather man with the catch-cry; “It looks like another beautiful day.”
With his experience in entertainment he relates well to people and has a knack for relaxing people and bringing them together into the spirit of the occasion.
